“Grand Opening of the Highland Farm Café”

Mark Beaumont BEM, the celebrated long-distance cyclist, adventurer and broadcaster, to perform the
“Grand Opening of the Highland Farm Café”
The new Highland Farm Café on the Old Evanton Road was recently completed and opened on August 15th 2018. Work started on the construction of the café three and a half miles from Evanton at the Mount Gerald Farm back in 2017 with some ideas by touring sports cyclists on a rest stop. It gives the resting traveler a cable car view of the Cromarty Firth at Dingwall and beyond. It is an Aladdin’s cave of local produce and gifts and it can soon get you in the mood to drink in the view and a coffee or grab some great food. On the 31st August there is to be the official Grand opening by the celebrated Mark Beaumont (author “Around the World in 80 Days”) and on September 15th an organized NC500 event of some 800 cyclists will be on the Old Evanton Road and passing the café throughout the day. Kenneth and Lesley McKenzie the proprietors, together with their team of friendly staff, give such a warm welcome it can easily explain why they are so busy.
