   PLEASE SEE UPDATES BELOW FROM POSTINGS .       

We now have more details about the coming B9176 road closure between the 16th and 18th August. You should note that the Golf Course Road is possibly due to be closed so the diversion will be via the Sctosburn Road. We are awaiting clarification and will give you an update as soon as possible. Please be careful! A map has been produced by the Highland Council which is attached, it is not very clear.

The Highland Council have stated that the dates which coincide with the schools going back and will mean a long diversion for the School Buses, could not have been brought forward. And that the really bad section between Pillar Lodge and the Golf Course Road is scheduled for repair despite the possible closure of the Golf Course Road. Hopefully they have a change of heart. 

23rd July    UPDATE

The Highand Council have now clarified that the Golf Course/Achandunie Road will NOT be closed and remains OPEN for the duration of the works. This makes more sense but it wasnt obvious from the felt tip markings on the map we received! So the B9176 will be closed from the Boath Road junction and the Golf Course Road junction between the 16th - 18th August 2021 for resurfacing.

18th August UPDATE

Just an update on the resurfacing work. 

Work had to stop suddenly because of a COVID related incident. At the moment it is not clear when the work is to be rescheduled. As soon as we know we will give a further update.
